Water detector LWW 20 monitors the cooling water supply (e.g. for a distilling cooler) via a platinum relay switch at the outlet (hose connection 10,8 mm) of the appliance. The switch is connected to a relay via a cable (5 meters length). This relay controls the electrical connection for the heater (e.g. for distilling apparatus). When a shortage of cooling water is registered, the relay closes down the heater and an acoustic and visual warning signal is emitted.
