BAM15 is an organic heterobicyclic compound that is [1,2,5]oxadiazolo[3,4-b]pyrazine substituted by (2-fluorophenyl)amino groups at positions 5 and 6. It is a mitochondrial protonophore uncoupler that is a potential treatment for obesity and sepsis. It has a role as a geroprotector, a renoprotective agent, an antiparasitic agent, an antineoplastic agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, an apoptosis inducer and an anti-obesity agent. It is an organic heterobicyclic compound, a substituted aniline, a secondary amino compound and a member of monofluorobenzenes.
