Galgravin is a member of the class of aryltetrahydrofurans carrying two 3,4-dimethoxyphenyl substituents at positions 2 and 5 as well as two methyl groups at positions 3 and 4. It has a role as a platelet aggregation inhibitor, a bone density conservation agent, a neuroprotective agent and a plant metabolite. It is a lignan, a ring assembly, an aryltetrahydrofuran and a dimethoxybenzene.
