Decanoyl-CoA is a medium-chain fatty acyl-CoA that results from the formal condensation of the thiol group of coenzyme A with the carboxy group of decanoic acid. It has a role as a mouse metabolite and an Escherichia coli metabolite. It is a saturated fatty acyl-CoA and a medium-chain fatty acyl-CoA. It is functionally related to a coenzyme A and a decanoic acid. It is a conjugate acid of a decanoyl-CoA(4-).
