Through the use of this special lid (incl. seal ring) on an agate grinding bowl with 500 ml volume, the grinding bowl can be used for grinding with inert gas and mechanical alloying. Two valves allow for easy and safe filling of the bowls with inert gas, while they are firmly clamped in the mill.
