GGTI-2133 free base is an N-acyl-L-amino acid obtained by condensation of the carboxy group of 4-{[(imidazol-4-yl)methyl]amino}-2-(naphthalen-1-yl)benzoic acid with the amino group of L-leucine. An inhibitor of geranylgeranyltransferase type I. It has a role as an EC 2.5.1.59 (protein geranylgeranyltransferase type I) inhibitor. It is a N-acyl-L-amino acid, a member of benzamides, a member of imidazoles, a L-leucine derivative, a member of naphthalenes, a substituted aniline, a secondary amino compound and a biaryl. It is a conjugate base of a GGTI-2133 free base(1+).
