SGC-CK2-1 is a pyrazolopyrimidine that is pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine which is substituted at positions 3, 5, and 7 by cyano, (4-methyl-3-propanamidophenyl)nitrilo and cyclopropylnitrilo groups, respectively. It is a potent and selective chemical probe for the pleiotropic kinase CK2. It has a role as an EC 2.7.11.1 (non-specific serine/threonine protein kinase) inhibitor. It is a secondary carboxamide, a nitrile, a pyrazolopyrimidine, a substituted aniline, a secondary amino compound and a member of cyclopropanes.
