Syringetin is a dimethoxyflavone that is myricetin in which the hydroxy groups at positions 3' and 5' have been replaced by methoxy groups. It has a role as a metabolite and a platelet aggregation inhibitor. It is a member of 3'-methoxyflavones, a 3',5'-dimethoxyflavone, a dimethoxyflavone, a tetrahydroxyflavone and a 7-hydroxyflavonol. It is functionally related to a myricetin. It is a conjugate acid of a syringetin(1-).
