Satavaptan is a vasopressin V2 receptor antagonist that has been shown to improve hyponatremia in patients with cirrhosis, congestive heart failure, and syndrome of inappropriate antidiuresis. It has a role as an aquaretic and a vasopressin receptor antagonist.
