Ryuvidine is a member of the class of benzothiazoles that is 1,3-benzothiazole-4,7-dione substituted by methyl and (4-methylphenyl)amino groups at positions 2 and 5, respectively. It is an inhibitor of CDK4 and SETD8 and exhibits cytotoxicity towards a number of human cancer cell lines.
