Hydrazinocurcumin is a pyrazole obtained by cyclocodensation of the two carbonyl groups of curcumin with hydrazine. It has a role as an antineoplastic agent, an EC 2.7.11.1 (non-specific serine/threonine protein kinase) inhibitor, an angiogenesis modulating agent and an EC 2.3.1.48 (histone acetyltransferase) inhibitor. It is a polyphenol, a member of pyrazoles, an aromatic ether and an olefinic compound. It is functionally related to a curcumin.
