Cremastranone is a homoisoflavonoid that is 2,3-dihydro-4H-chromen-4-onethat is substituted by hydroxy groups at positions 5 and 7, a methoxy group at position 6, and a 3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzyl group at position 3. It has been isolated from various plants, including the bulb of Cremastra appendiculata. It has a role as an angiogenesis modulating agent and a plant metabolite.
