Quizalofop-P is a 2-{4-[(6-chloroquinoxalin-2-yl)oxy]phenoxy}propanoic acid that has R configuration. An acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitor, it is used (generally as the corresponding ethyl or tefuryl ester proherbicides) for the control of annual and perennial grass weeds in sugar beet. It has a role as an EC 6.4.1.2 (acetyl-CoA carboxylase) inhibitor. It is a quinoxaline herbicide and a 2-{4-[(6-chloroquinoxalin-2-yl)oxy]phenoxy}propanoic acid. It is an enantiomer of a (S)-quizalofop.
