Sakuranetin is a flavonoid phytoalexin that is (S)-naringenin in which the hydroxy group at position 7 is replaced by a methoxy group. It has a role as an antimycobacterial drug and a plant metabolite. It is a member of 4'-hydroxyflavanones, a (2S)-flavan-4-one, a monomethoxyflavanone, a dihydroxyflavanone and a flavonoid phytoalexin. It is functionally related to a (S)-naringenin.
