Psora 4 is a member of the class of psoralens that is psoralen substituted by a 4-phenylbutoxy group at position 5. It is a potent inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel Kv1.3 (EC50 = 3 nM). It has a role as a geroprotector, an immunosuppressive agent and a potassium channel blocker. It is a member of benzenes, a member of psoralens and an aromatic ether.
